Last weekend our teams in Mexico and Aotearoa caught up over Whatsapp. How amazing is technology!? As our Kiwi crew settle into Alert Level 4 lock down for four weeks, the team in Mexico are preparing hygiene and immunity-boosting activities for disabled people and their whanau. Are you working from home? In self-isolation? Or maybe you’re simply not a fan of waiting in line at your local supermarket. Then why not have your coffee delivered straight to your door? Whole beans, filter, espresso, plunger… you name it, we’ve got it.

Support local business at this difficult time by purchasing inclusive TLF coffee beans, lovingly roasted by Able Coffee Collaborative. When you do, you are actively supporting small businesses, human rights, disability inclusion and accessibility, as well as the regeneration of our planet!

Wow, the greenhouse is really starting to take shape! Pepe wears protective eyewear, and has developed a kind of sign language to communicate with Juan while they work. But construction is not for the faint hearted (hey guys - are you building garden beds, or beds to sleep in!?). Keep up the amazing mahi!

Remember how the team recently spruced up the TLF HQ with a new name and signs (Casa Samilla / Seed House)? Casa Semilla was where Jessica, Ryan, Ebony and Lorenzo used to live - a beautiful home that has been transformed into an accessible space where all people are welcome to enjoy workshops, coffee selection, and community meetings. To keep Casa Semilla looking tip-top, the team have been cleaning up the yard and tending to the garden with the help of Pablito (Pepe's Dad), who pruned the trees at the entrance: "Somos un gran equipo, donde todos aprendemos de todos" // "We are a great team, where everyone learns from everyone." - Catalina Merino Varela
